The Viridian Responsible Energy Program

The age-old question: “How can I save money, go green, give a scholarship to a local high school student and keep the Beach Trolley running – all at the same time?” Actually, it’s quite easy!! You can save money on your electricity bills by using green energy. And you do NOT have to be a BBG member to obtain these savings. The Bay Business Group has signed up with Viridian Responsible Energy to get reduced rates for anyone who wants them!  It’s very easy to sign up. Just follow these easy steps: 1. Go to www.viridian.com/bbg (NOTE: FEBRUARY 1, 2012 -- THIS LINK WILL NOT WORK -- WE ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND WE'RE WORKING ON A SOLUTION) 2. In the upper right-hand corner of the page, click “Become a Customer” 3. Have a copy of your utility bill handy 4. At the bottom of the page, enter your zip code, utility company, account class and rate plan (see below for plans) 5. Fill out your name, account number, service address, city, state and zip code - Copy your name and address exactly as it appears on your bill – even if it is incorrect) 6. Confirm the information and select “Finish” Rates & Plans: Current electric rates with comparisons to those from BGE and PEPCO are offered on Viridian's website.
