Each member is encouraged to become active in a BBG Committee. Committees help to move our agendas forward and get the best possible outcomes for our member businesses and their employees. We have streamlined the committees to be as follows: BBG AFFAIRS FOCUS: Responsible for Legislative liaison and scholarship program administration. COMMUNICATIONS FOCUS: Responsible for website development and up-keep, listing the Directory, marketing/PR and BBG E-News. MEMBERSHIP FOCUS: Responsible for recruitment, retention, networking and member benefits. Send out welcome messages to new members, thank you emails and notes to current members, research and implement member perks and benefits and plan networking activities. SCHOLARSHIP FOCUS: The Bay Business Group, representing businesses in Northern Calvert and Southern Anne Arundel Counties, presents two scholarships to two graduating seniors from Northern High School, Huntingtown High School and/or Southern High School, who are pursuing a higher education in a business-related major and demonstrate financial need.  For more information, click here.
